Receive Him By Faith

    "As ye have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him."
    Faith is the one law of the Divine household. And as once you obtained forgiveness and salvation by faith, in this same way now claim and receive the Holy Spirit's fullness.

    Fulfill the conditions already named;
    wait quietly but definitely before God in prayer, for He gives His Holy Spirit to them that ask Him:
    then reverently appropriate this glorious gift, and rise from your knees and go on your way, reckoning that God has kept His word, and that you are filled with the Spirit.
    Trust Him day by day to fill you and keep you filled. According to your faith, so shall it be done to you.

    There may not be at first the sound of rushing wind, or the coronet of fire, or the sensation of feeling His presence.
    Do not look for these, any more than the young convert should look to feeling as an evidence of acceptance.

    But believe, in spite of feeling, that you are filled. Say over and over,
    "I thank You, 0 my God, that You have kept You word with me.
    I opened my mouth, and You have filled it; though as yet, I am not aware of any special change."

    And the feeling will sooner or later break in upon your consciousness, and you will rejoice with exceeding great joy; and all the fruits of the Spirit will begin to show themselves in your lifestyle.





The arrival

of the Holy Spirit in power and majesty on the day of Pentecost, heralded the beginning of the Body of Christ worldwide.
His awesome work will continue until the Lord Jesus Christ returns to wrap up this age!



You have been designed

by God to have Mighty Holy Ghost indwell Your life,
so that He can give you the will, desire and power to be the person God has called you to be,
so you can accomplish all God has in mind for you to do in your present lifetime.
This prepares you for the eternal life God has in mind for human beings who have rested their whole trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.
